Trains to Fort William, via Crianlarich and Bridge of Orchy (26/09/99 - 27/05/00)

Info: 08457 484950

ScotRail run a service from Glasgow Queen Street to Oban and Mallaig, with stops at convenient locations formy of the Munros and other hills through the region. Indeed, several hills are easier reached from the railway than roads, such as those around Corrour Station, like Beinn na Lap, Card Dearg, Sgor Gaibhre and even Ben Alder. There is also a seasonal Youth Hostel near this stop.

*Tyndrum also has a lower station, on the Oban line. This station is actually marginally more convenient for Ben Lui. Both lines meet at Crianlarich. Times for these trains shown in brackets. req denotes request stop.

These times may change in the summer (possibly becoming more frequent?). Check with the number above. Some tickets allow multiple stops, eg stopping at Corrour one day, then restarting and stopping at Crianlarich the next. Again, check with ScotRail.
